The Downtown Inn is located in Piggott Arkansas and includes 8 guest rooms. The building was the former Piggott State Bank building, renovated into beautiful, comfortable rooms and suites. Each room has a private bath, TVs with expanded cable, high speed internet connectivity, telephones and hairdryers. One room is wheel chair accessible with roll in shower. The building includes a 2 bedroom 2 bath owners living quarters.

The building was renovated 4 years ago so it has new air conditioning, new windows, new roof, recirculating hot water throughout so that each room has instant hot water, the kitchen for the BnB and the living quarters is new, new paint inside and out, the bricks were re-mortared outside, the building inside was reinforced with steel beams, and has a new sidewalk. There is a basement for storage but it doesn't have a garage. It has space to add one if desired. Each room is decorated with antique furniture.
Festivals include the 4th of July picnic, and Labor Day picnic, Memorial Day is an antique car festival that lasts a week, and the Hemingway writers festival is for 2 weeks in the spring. We typically have 2 business people stay almost everyday for work. Busiest time of year is typically May through July. July 4th weekend we have to book at least a year in advance. We also have a number of high school reunions occur throughout the year but mostly in the summer. It has a large jacuzzi room that is often used as a honeymoon suite.
The Downtown Inn has a social room that we rent out for receptions and tea socials.
We are located less than a half mile from the Hemingway museum. Hemingway's wife was from Piggott and he wrote "Farewell to Arms" in the study at the museum. More information can be found at this link: http://hemingway.astate.edu/.
