The Lodge is surrounded by the Targhee National Forest. The area offers a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunites for your guests in one of the most unique ecosystems in the world - the Yellowstone Ecosystem. With Yellowstone National Park and Island Park, Idaho as your backyard, your guests have the opportunity to endulge in some of the very best fly fishing in the world, with Henry's Lake, Hebgen Lake, Island Park Reservoir, the Firehole River, the Madison River, the Yellowstone River, and the Henry's Fork River all located within 30 minutes of the Lodge. Yellowstone Lake is within 60 minutes of the Lodge. Conveniently located just minutes from West Yellowstone, Montana and the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, your guests can enter Yellowstone Park for the day, and return to the Lodge each night. There are hundreds of miles of ATV trails and Forest Service roads for the ATV enthusiasts, hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails, and there are several nearby ranches that offer horse back riding through Harriman State Park and the Northern Rocky Mountains of Idaho and Montana. The Island Park, ID / West Yellowstone, MT area is recognized as the Snowmobile Capital of the World, and there are over 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the Yellowstone / Island Park area for your winter guests to enjoy.
The Lodge offers 7 guest rooms in the main Lodge, with a detached guest cabin (no bathroom), for a total of 8 guest rooms. There are 4 bathrooms. The walk-out basement has an additional 1200 sq ft open suite that sleeps 6 additional guests. The current owner also offers guests the unique experience of staying in an authentic outdoor Teepee, which sleeps up to four additional guests, and offers an experience that keeps them coming back.
The Owners Quarters are integrated with the Guest Rooms in the main Lodge. There is a 6 car garage, on-site concrete boat launch, beach area, and 3 slip boat dock.
