Turkey Creek Ranch is a turnkey 214 acre high fenced ranch ready to accommodate your hunting needs. Located in the beautiful Cross Timbers region in Jack County, Texas, this ranch has had all the hard work done and is ready to be enjoyed by the new owner.
Some of the amenities of the ranch include:
Fully furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with full kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace, central air and heat
Game fenced with 8 foot fully galvanized fence and posts, with predator wire and 2 breeding pens.
The ranch is stocked with Axis deer (30-35 animals with trophy bucks ready for harvest now), Blackbuck (40-45 with trophy bucks ready for harvest), Red Deer (10 animals, 4 stags and 6 hinds), and Whitetails (30-35 animals with improved genetics released with 6-8 mature bucks ready for harvest).
The Breeding pens currently have 10 does ready to be bred for 2008, 4 buck fawns from 2007, 1 doe fawn from 2007 and 10 bucks between the ages of 1.5-3.5 years. Whitetail genetics are from Rod Heltzel's Cross Timbers Whitetail Ranch and Tom Browning.
There are 10 corn feeders, 2 alfalfa feeders, and 5 protein feeders. There are 3 Executive Blinds that are 5'x5' on 12' towers as well as 3 tripod stands.
Equipment includes a John Deer 2640 tractor with loader (70 HP), a Ford 1210 tractor with loader (16HP), 6 and 4 foot brush hogs, 6 and 4 foot box blades, a 6 foot disc and a 10 foot grain drill. This equipment is used to work the 25 acres of food plots spread throughout the ranch as well as keep up the roads.
There is a 40 foot container for storage and 2 Kawasaki Bayou 220 ATV's for work and fun.
The ranch is about 70% heavy post oak timber with some live oaks surrounding the cabin. There are 2 nice ponds stocked with fish that did not go dry during the drought and 3 other ponds that usually hold water year round. The ranch is loaded with turkey.
